These crack burgers are rich, juicy and loaded with real flavour - thanks to Belli Beef, bacon, sour cream and sharp cheddar all mixed into the patty. Smash them on a hot grill and serve them up with your favourite toppings. No fillers, no fluff - just full-on flavour.

Ingredients (makes 4 burgers)
500g Belli Beef Premium Mince
¼ cup finely chopped bacon
3 tbsp sour cream
1 cup grated cheddar cheese
1 tsp salt
½ tsp black pepper
1 tsp paprika
1 tsp mixed herbs
Burger buns
Optional: your favourite burger toppings (lettuce, tomato, pickles, onion, sauce)
Method
Mix the Patties - In a large bowl, combine the beef mince, chopped bacon, sour cream, cheddar cheese and all seasonings. Mix well with clean hands until evenly combined.
Form into Balls - Divide the mixture into four equal portions and roll into firm balls. Chill for 15 minutes if time allows (this helps them hold shape).
Heat the Grill - Preheat your flat-top grill or large skillet over medium-high heat.
Smash the Burgers - Place each ball on the hot grill. Using a square of baking paper between the meat and the press, flatten each one firmly with a burger press or heavy spatula to form a thin patty.
Cook and Flip - Let the patties cook undisturbed until a crust forms, about 2–3 minutes. Flip and cook the other side until browned and cooked through to your preferred doneness.
Build Your Burger - Toast the buns if you like, then build your burger with your favourite toppings - classic lettuce and tomato, pickles and onions, or just sauce and cheese for the full indulgent hit.
Serve Hot and Enjoy - These burgers are best served fresh off the grill with a cold drink (or Wild Barrel Beer) n the side.
