Beef Stir fry

Serves 4, ready in under 30 mins

Ingredients

·      400g stir fry beef strips

·      1 tbsp tamari sauce

·      2 tbsp hoisin sauce

·      2 tbsp oyster sauce

·      1 egg

·      2 tsp coconut oil

·      1 tbsp crushed garlic

·      1 tbsp finely chopped fresh ginger

·      1 tbsp sesame seeds

·      1 large carrot cut into matchsticks

·      100g broccoli (or broccolini) cut into bite size pieces

·      140g mushrooms

·      1 half brown onion sliced

** Note: you can add any vegetables that you would like to

Method

·      Mix together the tamari, oyster, hoisin sauce, crushed garlic and ginger and egg. Add the stir fry beef, mix well and let marinade for 1 hour (or over night)

·      To cook, heat some coconut oil in the wok, cook the vegetables in batches and set aside once cooked. Continue cooking all ingredients in batches, allowing the wok to get hot again between batches and adding more coconut oil if needed. When you are on the last batch of meat, return all other cooked ingredients to the wok and heat through.

·      Serve on a bed of rice or noodles, garnish with sesame seeds
